What Should I Do Next?


My suggestion is to go through your gallery and pick images for your "favorites". You will notice the heart symbol above each image. Click on the heart symbol for images you like. This should get you down to about 25 - 30 images from 150-250 images. This makes things more manageable when making decisions for purchase. If you plan to purchase a limited number then this is the way to go. Also you will be able to make your selections for your freebie Groupon Smartphone App.

Do you manipulate the images?


I apply a preset based on the Fuji 400H film set to give a clean looking image. It is flattering to a variety of skin tones. The Fuji 400H film set was the "go-to" for wedding and portrait photographers in the film days who utilized the "light and airy" look.

What kind of look do you use for the images?


My images are based on the "light and airy" look. This is a great look for beach and park settings during bright daylight. Images tend to be on the lighter side with pastel colors.

Do you retouch images?


When I present the images to you for your gallery, the images have been retouched for color balance and exposure to give the best optimal image look from your session. Sometimes I may remove a person or object that is noticeable but not always.


Keep this in mind when making your favorite selections. If you feel further retouching needs to be done such as removing people from the background, covering up bra straps, toning down your sunburn please record the image number and what needs to be done.


Your Smartphone App


After you have picked your favorites from your session, create a new favorites list and call it "Smartphone App". Select 5-10 images from your favorites list and copy them to the Smartphone app list. Once you have done that, look for three dots on the top right of your screen. Right click and look for "Send to Your Photographer" or something similar. This will send me an email notification that you are done picking your images from your session.

Superfast turnaround!


I strive to stay on top of my business. When we conclude our shoot, I usually will inform clients that images will be finished within 7 days turnaround. Sometimes though I will surprise clients by having them completed in 24 to 48 hours. That's not a guarantee but something I strive for so you can have them in your hands quickly. I know how excited clients are after the shoot and that feeling of being a kid again on Christmas morning... I get it.

What is the best way to contact you?

Initially you should fill out my contact inquiry form. This puts a lead in my customer relations management software (CRM) and helps me document and follow up with you.

Once I have your information, I can contact you by phone to discuss details of your photo session and your ideas for what you want to happen. If you have any further questions after our consult, feel free to call or email me.

All communication after this pre-consultation will be emails and text on the day of your shoot.

What is your Style?

I generally define my style as "Light and Airy". I love creating nice clean images for clients. If they wish to modify these images on social media, I have no issue with that. I would recommend leaving the images unfiltered for printing.

What do you recommend for outfits for our shoot?

This is entirely up to you. I don't know what many of you look like so its hard for me to recommend specifically.

I do recommend the following. Coordinate your clothing with other members in your shoot. If you go casual, everyone should have casual outfit. Solid colors are best and keep these colors light. We are on the beach or park and your clothing should reflect that. Avoid patterns and logos. You want the images to look timeless. Hair, makeup, nails and such should be done well in advance.

Please note to exercise caution while sunbathing. Many visitors come to relax and enjoy the beach. It is easy to forget this and end up very sunburnt before your shoot. Just be mindful of this

Are you good with photographing kids?

Yes, I love photographing kids and will do my best to warm them up to me during our shoot. Some preparation may help smooth the way such as informing your littles that we will be visiting a photographer and his name is Bill. Introduce me to your little ones as if we were old friends and they will see that.

For kids that are 5 and under, please be aware that their attention spans are fairly short so I would do many of the shoots with them up front while they are fresh and energetic. As we proceed and they lose interest, I can focus on couples shoots and groups which involve older individuals. We can then swing back to a full group shot for the sunset photo and hopefully they will be engaged again by that time. This usually works well for me.

What if I have more than 6 people in my group?

Groupon is meant for up to 6 people. This is a typical family session and my number reflects that. However, if you have a larger group for a reunion or a once in a lifetime gathering of all party members, I can accommodate.

What if weather is icky, what should I do?

You will receive an email 24 hours before your shoot. I include my text number for you to contact me. If the weather is predicted to be lousy, contact me first and lets discuss our options. Summer in Florida can create situations where it might seem to be lousy weather but end up resulting in epic sunsets. Discuss with me before cancelling.

Do I need to worry about the wind?

Yes. For your photo session I would plan to have alternate hairstyles where your hair can be tied back in a flattering manner. Some days the wind has been 18+ mph and it can wreak havoc on your shoot. Plan accordingly.

Can we reshoot?

Most times I try to make every available effort to reschedule another sunset shoot. If this is not possible, we may attempt an early morning shoot for the following day.

In the event weather causes a cancellation, you will be refunded any payments.

What if someone in my group gets sick?

In the age of COVID-19, please use your best judgement on this. If that person is experiencing a fever while sick, I would recommend rescheduling if possible or cancellation. This is to protect both you and myself from possibly getting sick.

Do I need to wear a mask?

Nope. I will be photographing you and your family. Unless you *want* to be photographed that way for a purpose then you do NOT need to wear a mask.

I also do not wear masks for these photo sessions. We are out in the open with fresh air and it is not necessary. If you want me to keep my distance, let me know.

What should I do if I need to cancel my shoot?

Contact me ASAP and inform me that you need to cancel. This way I can re-open the date for any other people who may need to book a shoot.

If you have pre-paid your photo shoot, all but the retainer will be refunded to you. I will refund the retainer if I can book another shoot that day.

I am not happy with my session, can I get a refund?

If for some reason you are not happy with your pictures, please contact me to see if we can resolve the issue.

If you have downloaded the digital files, no refunds will be issued. Once you have downloaded the digital files there is no way to prove that you have deleted these files. If you are not happy with the gallery as you see it, DO NOT DOWNLOAD and please inform me. We can discuss how to resolve your issue with a reshoot or a possible refund. Once you have downloaded the digitials, a refund is not possible.

If you have received prints without any digital files you may be eligible to get a refund. All prints must be returned. I do ask that you make a good faith effort with me to resolve your issues before a refund is granted. I am always happy to hear feedback on how I can improve my service.
